SSOLLA is an international event that offers a short educational program on Lasers and Laser Applications in the area of laser and photonics to Asian researchers. Other participants of the SSOLLA2016 were from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore and Vietnam. The educational program mainly consists of lectures and experiments that were performed by GIST faculty members and Advanced Photonics Research Institute (APRI) research scientists. The topics cover design and application of special optical fiber, fine processing using laser, bio light imaging, femtosecond laser spectroscopy, integrated optics, lecture on THz and photonics.
