Dr. Percival Almoro of the NIP Photonics Group participated in the 3rd International Seminar on Photonics, Optics, and its Applications (ISPhOA) held last August 1 to 2, 2018 in Bumi Surabaya City Resort, Surabaya, Indonesia. Dr. Almoro shared his knowledge about multiple-plane phase retrieval and optical metrology. Before the conference, in July 31, 2018, Dr. Almoro visited the nearby Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember for a lab tour and gave also a lecture on statistical fringe processing. Dr. Almoro’s visit in Indonesia was funded under the framework of the Traveling Lecturers Program of The Optical Society (OSA), an activity aimed to build international scientific collaborations and promote optics and photonics throughout the world.
